Hello, what country are you from? I find it interesting that the groom is allowed to see the bride in her wedding dress before the actual wedding ceremony. Here, its traditional to not let the groom see his bride in her dress until she is walking down the isle to get married. I am also wondering what you mean by “singer” women, and why you must spend alot of money because of these women. I am also not familiar with Zameh, could you explain what that is? Do they always have to go to a friend’s house to spend their honeymoon? Or can they go somewhere else, like a vacation like we do here in the states. Great post by the way.

I’m gonna talk about wedding in my country

The First day of the wedding, they wake up the newlywed at 5 oclock to prepare her for the wedding, so they go to the hairdressing salon with her sister in law to put make up and dress on her just to make her more beautiful and then with her future husband they go to the city council to get marry with the family and friends.In my country, in wedding day everybody must wear the traditional clothes and have money to spend it because there will be too many singer women at the party.After getting married, they must go to their parent’s house for greetings and they can bless them after leaving their parent’s house, they separate the couple from people because there are two differents big party (one for the adult and other for young people)sometimes the newlywed can stay with his friend while some women are cooking and others dancing.

In the wedding day, we cook a traditional food like Zameh (the famous) etc….

The wedding takes one day so at the afternoon, they come with the newlywed to wash her feet and the man’s family have to give too many gifts like :traditional clothes bedding gold in the baggage tool for kitchen and money etc…so at the night they have to leave their family and to go to their friend’s house for honeymooning for one week. After this one week, they will have a big party again in which, woman must take her stuffs from her parent’s house and leave them for her new husband’s house .
