Personally, i do not think that is an easy way to count, because i have my trusty TI-83 calculator lol. It almost seems as if its a contest to be the first one done, instead of just making sure you get the answer correct. I guess if you use the primitive counting tool for a long time you can mentally do big calculations in your head. Being that i major in computer engineering, i believe in taking your time on important calculations to assure you get them correct so that nothing gets complicated down the road.
