I agree with your friend, illegal immigration is a big problem facing this country. Mainly because they are taking advantage of health care and education here without paying the appropriate taxes as we all do. Most illegal immigrants are not wealthy and therefore do not pay enough taxes if any for them to take advantage of our “advantages.” As well all know from 9/11, the terrorist were in this country illegally and most drug importation can be traced back to other countries outside of the US. We used to be called the “melting pot” because immigrants like Italian-Americans, German-Americans etc. adopted the customs language and culture of America and became just known as Americans. Now it seems that you cant buy anything now a days without the description being written in English and Spanish. This really bothers me. If you want to come to this country, you should learn the language and adopt our customs and culture like back when America was first being established.
